Brief outline of class content
Due to COVID-19, senior cycle students all over Ireland have missed out on valuable access to career guidance. Here at Synergy Careers, we have put together an online Career Guidance Programme, to allow to explore career decisions to suit each individual participant. We run several 4 week Career Exploration Program online over the school year.
Our classes are held once a week. The cost is €95 for the 4 week programme plus online access to resources. The classes will be approximately one hour per week. The lessons will be transmitted through Zoom.

Aimed at Senior Cycle students (TY, 5th and 6th years) looking for experienced and indepth support and guidance on selecting a career path best suited to them. During the 4 weeks, students are guided through a process of self-exploration and career exploration with access to online resources. The aim is for each student to gather relevant information via online resources, reflective exercises, assessments, discussion ending up with a much clearer sense of who they are, what interests them and what courses/careers best suit and warrant further investigation.
Students will be provided with pre-paid access to online resource MyFuture+, assessments and worksheets with lots of reflective exercises, breakout rooms to allow for peer discussion. The program will help students explore their skills, interests, values etc in a group setting.
Students will also be introduced to careers research – key resources and guidelines on how best to research so that they can make an informed decision when applying for college/work
For TY students making subject choice, guidance and tips will be given based on areas of interest and ensuring requirements are met for future career choices (based on what careers are highlight at this time). This offers an alternative to 1 to 1 careers consultation at more affordable costs.
Via online platform Zoom – this is free to the end users.
Minimum of 6 students per class.
€95 for 4 x 1 hour classes with access to key resources.
€130 for 4 x 1 hour classes with resources PLUS a 30-minute 1-1 consultation with Julie
€160 for 4 x 1 hour classes with resources PLUS a 1-hour 1-1 consultation with Julie

1:1 Consultation Add-ons
This discounted 1:1 Consultation is only available to ZOOM Class students. You have the option of a 30 or 60 minute session. The normal price for an hour-long Information Session is €80 and is available to you for €65, or for €35 if you would prefer a 30-minute session. Please contact us for a discount code to use with your booking.
Class Type 2: 1-Hour Informational Sessions
Informational Sessions, including Q&A, are 1 hour in length and involve the topics as listed below: These sessions will coincide with the week of the relevant lunchtime webinars starting from September 2021. They will take place on Thursday evenings at 8pm at a cost of €10 per session. If your school has PAID School Membership Plan you can access 2 of these information sessions for FREE. Codes will be provided, important to use your school email address
