Webinar #9 focuses on CAO Application, which will be opening early November. For those wishing to apply to College in The Republic of Ireland (42 listed institutions, including our universities, Technological Universities and others) must use this central application procedure. You will get tips on application procedure, dates, costs and an understanding of the importance of ‘Order of Preference’ in your application. You will be introduced to the relevance of HEAR & DARE schemes in colleges, additional application (SIF) for students who’s access to college is impacted by either economic and/or disability factors (greater focus is given to this in Decembers webinar on CAO application and Additional Requirements). Those applying to medicine will also have to apply separately to do the HPAT, an aptitude assessment that is part of requirements needed for entry to medicine in Ireland. This can only be done when you have made your initial application to CAO.

  • 45 – 54 minutes: Ursula Mullane Business Manager, School of Medicine UL outlines the NEW undergraduate programme in medicine starting 2026 + Moderated Leaving Cert results +HPAT scores explained
