Webinar #18 in Synergy Careers Webinar Series, #12 in the Careers in…. Series looks at careers in Education. Each webinar aims to inform those joining in, of the variety of course options to suit different academic abilities, aptitudes and interests. We aim to give an insight into subject/grade requirements, key skills and qualities suited, job prospects, course content and more.

You will get insight from careers guidance perspective along with college/course options to suit all levels, professional body insight and hear from someone working in the industry.

Guest Speakers include Patrick Cosgrove Mary Immaculate College Limerick and Thurles, Laurence Touhy Graduate of Primary Education & Psychology MIC and 1st year Masters student Patrick Roddy PME Post Primary UL.

Timing

  • 0-25 minutes: Synergy Careers on who is best suited, elements to consider, course/training options, requirements and some research tips.
  • 25-40 minutes: Patrick Cosgrove Student Liaison Officer Mary Immaculate College on courses offered at both undergraduate and graduate routes
  • 40-57 minutes: Laurence Tuohy graduate Primary Education & Psychology and Patrick Roddy PME Masters in Education UL
  • 57-60 minutes: Panel Discussion
