2026 marks the 2nd year of our NEW Workbook created to work in conjunction with Synergy Careers Webinar Series. We have made a 2nd edition taking into account feedback from schools, including more reflection on work experience, more space to reflect and review, resulting in 2 distinct sections one for initial reflection followed by section on continued review.
This workbook will provide an essential added layer of active learning to TY & Senior Cycle students in their career’s exploration journey providing ready-made structured and guided learning while engaging with the Career Focused Webinar Series.

- School Book Grant – there is a total allocation of €437 per student over TY and Senior Cycle (ref P.10 of below guidelines). The Synergy Careers Workbook supports active learning in career guidance over the TY and Senior Cycle. This would prove to be a great addition to your students career guidance resources and one that parents can engage with @home. The cost will be approximately 2.4 to 2.8% of student grant allowance over the 3 years!
- School ICT Grant – It’s worth noting that schools can use the ICT grant funding (if allocated), for the purchase of …. “, cloud based tools, learning platforms, software and education applications, designed to support the teaching and learning in the school”. ICT Grant Circular 0039/2024
- TY budget – alternatively if the above 2 options are already subscribed to for Guidance resources why not request via TY submissions. TY budget will also allow for purchasing of these workbooks as careers investigation, personal growth, and civic and community engagement are central to the NEW TY curriculum, all of which are central to this reosurce.
